Liz's Answers Part One - Happy New Year!

What is your ABSOLUTE favorite kind of music?! You can only choose one. I like the singer songwriter guitar music the best! I've decided.

What is your dream job?I'd love to start a PR or Ad agency! with my sister, Julia, because we both are design/communications FREAKS.

Also, Someday, when I'm all kinds of knowledgeable, it would be dream-job-like to write a book and go on a book tour. How glamorous would that be? :) It would be a nonfiction advice/inspirational book for sho.

Do you have an absolute favorite book? My two favorites are The Hunger Games and He's Just Not That Into You. The Hunger Games is really good and I love Katniss. I recommend it! He's Just Not That Into You, the movie (in my opinion) was really bad. The book is nothing like it!!! It's brutally honest and helps you stay in "reality," but is also motivational.

Vampire Eric or Vampire Bill? TEAM BILL! BILL, we need to talk. Please come in on a white horse already. I agree with the BHBBC, you suck. Fix that driveway JEEZ!!

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? Seriously, I'd love to do a world tour, haha. I've been lucky to visit some cool places. I'd want to go to New York, Greece, and somewhere with snowy mountains. Also, I've never seen the Grand Canyon!

Why do you blog? I blog because I really like to share things. I also love to subscribe and read blogs! It's crazy that my blog friends are from everywhere. I like hearing about what it's like from different viewpoints and places. And Lauren Elizabeth/SJ are in Austin omg.

How did you start blogging? Funny you should ask :) ACTUALLY, I became a hardcore Twilighter during the first movie in '08. I even had a twilight twitter (I'm crazy!) Anyways, I started reading these hilarious Twilight Mom tweets, and then their blogs, and they mentioned pocket Edward and... a link to Lauren's Bite! (Busy Bee Lauren) Lauren is the reason I started blogging.

Favorite color? I have to admit, pink

What is your favorite item of clothing to wear? Jackets and coats :)

Fav Starbucks drink? Java chip chiller thingy haha. Although I've been getting McCafes like nobody's business.

WHAT is your biggest inspiration? My biggest inspiration is knowing that I can make a difference.

WHO is your biggest inspiration: Taylor Swift.

Part two will coming soon...

Happy New Year!

What did everyone do? I watched The Hannah Montana Movie/ a freaky episode of the Twilight Zone with my family and ate pizza. :)

In the meantime,
I'm listening to
I Just Can't Stop Loving You
by Michael Jackson.
Because I loved him singing that in his movie.

Also: This just in.
Avatar was really good.
It was so pretty.
And there was a total
Taylor Swift Love Story
happenin'

This guy... haha

Michelle Rodriguez?
LOLOL

That's all for now...
Okay, friends.
Have a good night.
I'm gonna veg out and watch
The Devil Wears Prada...

because having a new job made me think of it.
haha

Comment me a question.
Go!

Musical Discovery Share!

I've been following the cutest and loveliest girl
by the name of Jordyn Shellhart.

I found her through a Taylor (Swift, duh)
fan on myspace. Myspace, holla!
I have one if you're interested :)
(I have a bunch of cool Taylor pics from the Dallas show on there!!)

Well, dang. I was at Best Buy
(rarely am I in Best Buy. Hello, I'm a Target kind of girl)
Anyways, here I am walking through Best Buy and
THERE SHE IS! On a cd cover - Jordyn Shellhart!
(RIGHT NEXT TO THE NEW LADY GAGA?)

Thoughts:
1. Ohmygosh? I know her!!
2. Lady Gaga has a new cd? Chill out Lady Gaga.
3. Oh my gosh, I'm BUYING THIS (Not Lady Gaga, obvs)

I get to my car.
Take forever to open my cd.
(Ugh, cd packaging ppl, can you make it any HARDER?)
And listen...

I am seriously amazed by this girl.

Her writing is so good.
This is more of what the world needs tbh
(unlike Adam Lambert and Shakira
at the AMA's, ew.
Cut it out guys.
It's just getting gross)

I really like music that means something.
I like all kinds of music
(fun, hello? I love Hannah Montana - guilty pleasure)
but the ones that mean something more are the ones I can't stop singing to.

And I'm singing.

What Heaven Knows
Oh. My. Gosh. Lyrics kill me. I love them so much.
They're so perfect.
Asking questions about heaven.
And missing someone in heaven.

Learn to Love Alone
Ahhh.

Infinite X's and O's
So happy. Like cutest song ever written.

Just go buy the cd.
(at Best Buy only)

It's recorded in a room (her cd title, clever)
and ALL acoustic so that she could make a full cd.
I am excited to hear the songs recorded in full someday.
Because acoustic is the bomb.

Listen to her music at her website:

First Day of Work!!

I have a job.
And a desk.
And an office.
With a giant flowery desk calendar.
And a note that enthusiastically says,
"Welcome aboard, Liz!"
This is strange in the best way possible.
Haha.

I'm like, "Okay!"

You know I went all crazy prepping for this day.
Not even lying.
I bought a special lunchbox.
Yeah...

ps.
The break room is like The Office.
No kidding!!

But srsly,
I'm so happy and feel so lucky
to be so welcomed.

Even if I am super duper tired.
And ate like four pieces of pizza when I got home.
It happens.
I'll be a pro by next week ;)

pps.
You know I'm
getting a betta fish
to live on my desk.
Possibly named Lady Gaga II.
We'll see.

Liz's Twelve Things About Christmas

Yay! Christmas is upon us...
It actually snowed in San Antonio!
Well... technically, some little flurry things were flying around for ten minutes,
but it did "snow" haha.

Here are my twelve favorite things about Christmas.

(one)
Dressing for winter.
I'm getting this coat.

It even has a hood,
which I LOVE.
Rain, snow (Texas? Yeah, right), whatever.
I live for having a hood
because I've never had one on
a coat.
I'm crazy.

(two)
Holiday Parties.
Secret Santas.
White elephants...
Tacky Christmas Sweater themed parties.
Just heard of it.
Julia would be a hit at one of these
(She dressed as a "crazy cat lady" for halloween)
That would be so. much. fun.

(three)
Holiday drinks
Hot chocolate....oh and
when my sisters and I were little,
we used to make "Santa's Hats"
at my grandma's and it was SOOO FUN.
Santa Hat how-to:
Sprite
vanilla ice cream
redi whip
red sprinkles
cherry on top.

(four)
The puppies freaking out on Christmas morning
because there is tissue and wrapping paper everywhere.
They get so excited.

Tuka-face under the tree :)

(five)
Fires and marshmallows
Although it is very, very rare that I actually do this
I think it is very fun to have a fire and all that jazz.

(six)
Doing things with your crazy extended family.
It can be quite funny.
Lots of material.
I could write books.

(seven)
Okay, okay... I admit.
I am one of those people who can get kind of
grumpy about Christmas music stations.
(I know, I'm heartless, right?)
BUT
during the really Christmasy parts of Christmas,
I do like Christmas music :)
*especially in church.
We have a talented organist guy
that my mom thinks is cute.
Like, she wants me to date him cute.
Haha.

(eight)
Shopping for presents, specifically at
a bookstore or the mall.
I'm crazzzy about gifting.
It's my favorite thing to do.
I like planning gifts and preparing them.
Am I crazy?

(nine)
Christmas lights
I like all the oak tree decorations.
Around the trunks, hanging from the branches.

(ten)
Gingerbread houses
I don't think I've ever actually DONE THIS!
I know, what the heck is wrong with me??

This is right up my alley and
Allison made me get really excited in her

(eleven)
Ornaments!
All the fun ones you made when you
were little + all of your cool new ones!
Hello Kitty and
R2D2 are on my tree.

(twelve)
Oh... okay one more.
Sending out cute little Christmas cards for the
first time!
They're so cute, I don't know what to do.
So a new one to add to the list:
Sending out cute Christmas cards.
I got three different cards and they all have
a type of winter bird on them.
I guess I like birds? lol

Kreativ? Me? Why, thank you!

Thank you Allison :)

Okay, let me tell you about a gal named Allison.
She has SUCH a cute blog
and is such a positive energy.
I mean, her tweet cloud says it all ;)

Anyways, Allison has chosen ME!
as one of the most "Kreativ Bloggers" around.
Woo, woo!

There are rules:
Share 7 things that you don't already know about me.
Name 7 other blogs to receive this award.

Leave a comment on each of the blogs I nominated.

Thank the person who gave me the award.

Seven things?
You mean like the Miley song?
Okay.

(one)
I used to hate on farmville
because everyone else seemed bothered by it,
but now I'm plowing and harvesting my days and nights away.
Right now I'm growing some eggplants
and my friggin artichokes are taking four days
(please be done, artichokes!)
I'm a woman obsessed.

(two)
All together, my family and I have
five dogs,
two cats,
and a slow-moving
betta fish
named Lady Gaga
I love dogs!

(yes, that's our Tuka doll above)

(three)
One minute I'm Team Edward...
and the next...
I'm like ohgosh "but...Movie Jacob was so good"
and not just
because he's all "buff"
Team Jacobward. What the heck.

(four)

My hair is naturally curly,
but the flat iron wins.
Yep!

(five)
I read every night before bed.
It's the worst when I stay up too late
on the computer doing mindless nothingness!
Reading is good.

(six)
I hate seafood.
It freaks me out!
And this pic is hilarious.

(seven)
I love communications
and could probably take over the world by email.
Haha.
Kidding.
But I love it all.
Technology. Graphics. Websites. Events.
I could go on.

7 Blogs you will adore- now it's your turn.
I think you're pretty Kreativ!

New Moon

After seeing New Moon twice
(I know, I'm a bad Twilighter, only TWICE)
Anyways,
After seeing it twice, I am ready to blog!
Let the blogging begin!

I really liked the creepy intro.
Being a bad Twilighter, I completely forgot about
the grandma scene.

Edward looks so pained.
Rosalie looks... weird.

In all seriousness, I wanted to
cry my eyes out
during the breakup scene.
That is saying a lot.

I almost let myself sob it out
when they showed her sitting alone at the
"Cullen" lunch table.
Or her sitting in the window for way too long.

But...
Yay, JakeLaut.
Little ray of sunshine.
I like you better than book Jacob.

I love love love this part...
FACE PUNCH.
"Let's do this"
All the handholding opps = genius

It was nice to see JakeLaut get angry.
I was like "oh okay..."
(surprised)

Team book Edward like nobody's business.
Movie Jacob had me questioning my loyalties for five minutes.
I mean, HELLO.
Long hair T-Laut-Jacob = sweetheart

But, dear movie-makers,
Are you TRYING to make everybody Team Jacob?
Just wonderin'
("Bella, you're bleeding"
solution:
*takes shirt off*)

(In the books, I was like GTFO Jacob.
T-Laut is wonderful.
I hope he's dating Taylor Swift.)

Back to the movie....

What happened to the SILVER VOLVO??
I know, I know...
This is old news, but I'm still wondering wth.

The wolves looked good.
I liked how they were super heavy.
You know what I mean.

Alice is PERFECT.
I pretty much cut my hair to be like Alice.
Haha. But omg
Her and T-Laut-Jacob banter was sooo funny.
"Put the dog out"
couldn't have been more perfect.

Sidenote: I love Carlisle

Sidenote: Jessica is still hilarious.

One of the more important sidenotes:
Team I-love-Edward's-suit-better-than-the-other-stuff-he-wears.

Perfect, perfect "fishing" in the red dress scene...
Good job in being funny and creepy, Volturi.

I really liked the movie better than Twilight.
Let's face it... I tried to watch Twilight the other day and
could not make it past the biology scene.
I can't believe that Eclipse comes out in... June?
Are you kidding?

Anyways,
I know I've blogged mostly about Jacob,
but that is only because he was up in my grill so much.
When all is said and done
at the end of the day,

Team Edward.

Also: I love Charlie and his show-stealing mustache.

Lovely Little Post

1. Sookie Stackhouse books
I've been reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels.
Let me tell ya, there are like ten of these things.
It's great that it just never ends.
I'm on the fifth one.
And seeing some similarities with Twilight
HMMMM....
Steph Mey has some splainin' to do.

2. Party dress
I love dresses, but I rarely get a chance to wear them.
When I say I love them, I really do.
I got the cutest little doll dress for
my nice little Holiday Party coming up.
Ahhh.
(I tried on a bunch of sparkly Beyonce dresses for fun.
Did not quite work out....
Props to Beyonce for pulling those off because
CLEARLY, she works it.)

3. New Moon
This one deserves a post of it's own.
Stay tuned...

4. The Fearless Platinum Edition
(Rerelease)
If you haven't gotten the sparkly rerelease of Fearless yet, get on that.
Six new songs and I love them all to pieces.
Including piano version of Forever and Always.
Joe Jonas is not my cup of tea.

5. Birthdays = CAKE
Too many birthdays and cookie cakes going on around here!!!
:)

(And if anyone's wondering, I did face-in-hole
that Sookie Stackhouse pic LOL)
